Manage door access with clear rules.
Decide who can enter, how they authenticate and what happens when access changes.
Example scenario
Staff entry to a secured stockroom
In this example, scheduled staff can enter a secured stockroom. HR roster changes can update door access where the interfaces are connected; synchronization and failure behavior are agreed per project.
How it works
Staff are enrolled from HR
With an HR interface agreed, staff who consent can be enrolled and access rules can follow roster role and shift.
The terminal matches a face
At the door, the terminal matches the person and reports the result. Plan a card or PIN as an alternative.
DERAS applies the rule
In the proposed integration, DERAS would check the match against the zone and shift, record the decision and request the controller to release the lock.
The door opens, and the log is kept
On an approved decision, the controller releases the lock; entries and refusals are recorded where HR or ERP logging is integrated.

An illustrative scenario, not a customer deployment. Devices, events and connections to your systems are agreed for each project.
Technical example: data and integration
This is an illustrative flow. Device support, event fields and connections must be confirmed for your project.
Possible DERAS role
- With a supported terminal interface, receives match results
- Checks them against zone, role and shift
- Where supported, instructs the controller and records each decision
- After agreed synchronization, removes access when HR removes the person

Agree the event format, delivery method and system interface during project scoping.
What to define together
- Doors & users
- Door construction, lock type, user groups and access permissions.
- Operational workflow
- Plan enrollment, authentication, alternative access and revocation.
- Devices & management
- Terminals, controllers, power, management software and integration depend on the chosen configuration.
Agree alternative credentials, consent, data retention and failure handling before choosing devices.
