Video evidence for goods received at a dock
In this example, a camera watches the dock and an RFID portal identifies tagged goods. If recorder events and a WMS interface are available, a receipt can carry a video reference for review.
How it works
The camera detects activity
The dock camera flags activity using the events its recorder supports, such as motion or a line crossing.
The portal identifies the goods
Where an RFID portal is installed, it reads the tagged pallet entering through the same door.
DERAS links event and goods
In the proposed integration, DERAS would match the camera event and RFID read by dock and time, then attach a video reference exposed by the recorder.
The receipt carries its evidence
With a WMS interface agreed, the receipt could store the reference so staff can find the relevant recording.
