Track item movement at key points.

See when tagged goods pass agreed checkpoints, then confirm each movement before updating your system.

Example scenario

Goods leaving through a warehouse dock door

Tagged pallets are read as they pass a dock-door portal. Each movement is recorded with its time and door, without anyone scanning.

How it works

  1. Pallet leaves storage

    Every pallet carries a tag linked to its shipment. A forklift moves it from storage to the dock.

  2. Portal reads at the door

    Antennas on both sides of the door read the tags as the pallet passes; the fixed reader reports every read with its antenna.

  3. DERAS turns reads into a movement

    Many reads of the same tag become one event with the door, time and direction, and tags read in adjacent zones are filtered out.

  4. The shipment is updated

    The WMS marks the pallet as dispatched from Dock 02 and keeps the movement history for each item.

Technical example: data and integration

This is an illustrative flow. Device support, event fields and connections must be confirmed for your project.

Possible DERAS role

  • Handles each reader and antenna separately
  • Collapses repeated reads into one movement
  • Adds door, zone and time to every event
  • Posts the movement to your WMS or ERP

Illustrative events

  • rfid.tag_read{"reader":"FX9600-DEMO","antenna":2,"rssi":-48}
  • item.moved{"epc":"…186A0","from":"Storage","to":"Dock 02"}
  • shipment.updated{"shipment":"DO-DEMO-118","status":"dispatched"}

Agree the event format, delivery method and system interface during project scoping.
